For golf lovers, Overloon has a 9-hole golf course with several water features. Want to spend a day in the city? The train station is nearby, and 30-minute trains will take you right into the middle of Nijmegen or Venlo.
Our campsite is more than just a place to spend the night. Discover the unique atmosphere of our campsite, where time seems to stand still. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, here you can enjoy the simple things in life. Whether you want to read a book in the shade of a tree, take a walk through the woods or just enjoy the view of the water, you will find the peace you are looking for. No slides,playgrounds or entertainment but endless adventures with mom and dad in nature.
The Schaartven is a wonderful place to swim, although we would like to remind you that this is at your own risk.
To keep the grass green as well, we kindly ask that you do not use plastic or ground tarps. However, air and translucent awning carpets are allowed.

Sandwich service
During high season and other busy periods Camping Schaartven offers a sandwich service. You can order your bread rolls daily until 17:00, so you can enjoy delicious freshly baked rolls the next morning.
Dogs are welcome at Camping Schaartven,
provided they are leashed and not in the water or on the beaches.

Nature campsite
If you choose to stay at our nature campsite Schaartven then you choose one of the most beautiful places that Brabant has to offer. Here you have no access to electricity but it is back to basics in a fantastic location! Of course you can simply use the sanitary facilities at our campsite.
The nature campground of Camping Schaartven is located across the lake, to the right of the dune and hidden in the woods, you are here in the middle of nature with camper, caravan or tent!
Wonderfully peaceful! Camping in the woods at or near the water. Ideal for a "Back to Basic" nature experience.
There is no electricity here, but of course you can just use the sanitary facilities of Camping Schaartven. Please note, the latest arrival time for this site is 6:00 pm. Booking can be done simply through the website.

ACTIVITIES
In bustling Overloon you can enjoy eating out, choose from a variety of restaurants and several outdoor cafes. Do your shopping at the large supermarket, bakery and butcher. Overloon is conveniently located in beautiful surroundings with a very pleasant center. It is also very conveniently located to the highways, with its own entrance and exit to the A73 highway and both Nijmegen and Venlo within 20 minutes by car.
